Note: Everything is here...all spooled up with a weight forward floating fly line and tapered leader. All you have to do is tie on a fly and start fishing.
Standardized line weights as defined by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA, formerly AFTMA).
Weights are given in grains (7000 grains/pound or 437 1/2 grains/ounce), measured by weighing the front 30 feet of the fly line.

Fly Rod Temple Fork Outfitters Fly Rods Finesse Series 2wt, 7ft-3in, 4pc Designed by Lefty Kreh
"TFO tailored these rods for smooth, accurate and delicate presentations and they roll cast like a dream."
- Ed Jaworowski
Lefty Kreh Finesse Rods complement the TFO line by offering a more 'traditional' taper and action for those who fish small flies and fine tippets on light lines. These are the ideal rods for meadow streams, limestone creeks, and springcreeks. At short to medium distances, Lefty Kreh Finesse rods cast effortlessly, turning over long leaders easily. The shorter lengths are perfect for tight quarters while the longer length rods will keep a back cast well above tall grasses. Lefty Kreh Finesse rods are hansomely appointed with Rosewood inserts on an up locking reel seat which nicely accentuates the deep olive finish.
The Flystart is a hybrid large arbor fly reel that is inexpensive, yet built with the same commitment to quality and performance as all Ross reels. The drag system is Ross designed to be smooth, consistent and have a wide range of adjustment.
Fly fishing is a sport that everyone can enjoy, but for many people, the price of fly tackle is often a barrier to participation. The Ross team was committed to producing an introductory priced fly reel that would perform to the expectations of even the most experienced angler, and the Flystart series perfectly meets this goal.
You will be amazed with its quality in manufacturing tolerance, performance and sound. The Flystart is a great fly reel for first-time fly fishing participants that demand quality but do not want to spend a fortune gearing up to fish.

Retrieve Information
If you cast with your right hand and retrieve with your left hand then you want Left Hand Retrieve.
If you cast with your left hand and retrieve with your right hand then you want Right Hand Retrieve.
Note: Some prefer to use the same hand for casting and retrieving by setting the hook before switching the rod to the opposite hand. This is perfectly acceptable. The important thing is that you retrieve with the hand with which you are most comfortable (fastest retrieve).
Backing Material Information
We will put 20# test Dacron backing material by 3M-Scientific Anglers on to your reel.
Be sure to select your retrieve (see above).
Standard Backing is built with advanced 3M technology that allows 3M to create small diameter backing without losing the inherent strength of the backing material.
Features:
Exceptionally thin material for more reel capacity
Low coefficient of friction minimizes wear on guides
High abrasion resistance
Colorfast
Extremely high visibility
Optional Fly Lines for this Rod and Reel
We'll spool up your reel to capacity and tie on a fly line of your choice.
Be sure to select which retrieve you prefer.

RIO Grand® Fly Line - for Fast Action Fly Rods
The RIO Grand® is an all-around line with distinctive state-of-the-art technology to benefit the trout fly fisher.
The line and tip float extremely high due to AgentX Technology in the line and Super Floatation Tip, RIOs proprietary manufacturing processes which gives the RIO Grand maximum floatation.
The weight forward taper is one half size heavier to load the faster modern fly rod, yet it gives a smooth light delivery of even the smallest dry fly and the rear taper is long enough for roll casting.
The product of RIOs SlickShooter™ Process, the RIO Grand fly line incorporates a supple coldwater, super slick, self-lubricating, dirt-resistant coating on a nylon multifilament core.
RIO has included a welded loop on the front end of the fly line to facilitate changing leaders.
Tests have found excellent turnover and presentation with this loop.
When landing fish, it slides through the rod guides more easily than the customary nail knot. Traditionalists can cut this loop off and not compromise the taper.
This is the perfect line for wet or dry fly fishing.
Short, bullet-shaped forward taper
Medium length back taper
Hard self-lubricating coating on a nylon multifilament core impoves turnover performance
Won't wilt or sag in warm water fishing conditions
AgentX two coat manufacturing process provides a superbly durable and long casting fly line.
Super Floatation Technology resulting in a super low density high-floating fly line.
Available in a 3wt (WF-3-F) for this rod & reel combination.

AuquaLux Fly Line Powerflex® Core
A must-have line for the serious lake angler. Castability has always been a problem with clear intermediate sinking lines because there are no lubricants in the coating and the lines drag through the guides. RIO has solved the problem by incorporating proprietary lubricants into the running line coating that make the line slick. The running line is translucent green while the head is completely clear. With an intermediate sinking rate of 1.5 2.0 inches per second (3.7 cm/s), the line is perfect for fishing subsurface and shallow shore lines. Ideal when stealth is required for wary, selective fish. Made on a low memory supple monofilament core with a coldwater coating and welded loop on the front end.

RIO Powerflex Monofilament Tapered Leaders
Each RIO Powerflex knotless tapered leader is designed for superb abrasion resistance as well as high knot and tensile strength. The long butt design provides smooth turnover while the supple tippet gives the fly lifelike presentation. The graduated tapers have corresponding stepped butt diameters. Tapers are made with thick butts to turn over heavy flies and thinner butts for smaller flies.
RIO knotless leaders have a high tech "best maximum pull" ratio to orient the molecules in a linear chain. This means that RIO's leaders return to their original taper after a fight. The light gray color is the most neutral and integrates visually with any background for perfect camouflage.
All RIO trout tapered leaders have Perfection Loops tied in the butt section to facilitate changing leaders.

RIO Fluorocarbon Leaders
When stealth and accurate presentations are required for wary fish, the RIO Fluoroflex Knotless Tapered Leader is the leader of choice. The leaders are nearly invisible and feature superb knot strength, and abrasion resistance. In the tradition of RIO, the leader tapers are designed and extruded to exacting tolerances. Since Fluorocarbon is denser than nylon, the Fluorflex leaders will sink faster than traditional nylon leaders.
These leaders are a good choice for fishing chironomids and emergers in lakes.
