TFO No. I Click Pawl Drag Fly Reel by Temple Fork Outfitters
Temple Fork Outfitters has started making their own fly reels. They're machined aluminum and anodized to perfection. These reels are just like their rods. A superior product with a reasonable price.
This small clicker reel has a narrow spool to help prevent fly line bunch up on one side and is light enough to achieve the perfect balance on any 2 to 4wt rod.
The TFO I is diminutively designed to be appealing, in both form and function, with the most delicate of rods. The click pawl drag will help you protect the daintiest of tippets.
If you cast with your right hand and retrieve with your left hand then you want Left Hand Retrieve.
If you cast with your left hand and retrieve with your right hand then you want Right Hand Retrieve.
Note: Some prefer to use the same hand for casting and retrieving by setting the hook before switching the rod to the opposite hand. This is perfectly acceptable. The important thing is that you retrieve with the hand with which you are most comfortable (fastest retrieve).
Backing Material Information
For a small fee we will put 20# test Dacron backing material by 3M-Scientific Anglers on to your reel.
Be sure to select your retrieve (see above).
Standard Backing is built with advanced 3M technology that allows 3M to create small diameter backing without losing the inherent strength of the backing material.
Features:
Exceptionally thin material for more reel capacity
Low coefficient of friction minimizes wear on guides
High abrasion resistance
Colorfast
Extremely high visibility
Optional Fly Lines for this Reel
If you select to add backing and a fly line, we'll spool up your reel to capacity and tie on a fly line of your choice.
Be sure to select which retrieve you prefer.
If you select to add a fly line only, we'll include the fly line off the reel.

RIO Grand® Fly Line - for Fast Action Fly Rods
The RIO Grand® is an all-around line with distinctive state-of-the-art technology to benefit the trout fly fisher.
The line and tip float extremely high due to AgentX Technology in the line and Super Floatation Tip, RIOs proprietary manufacturing processes which gives the RIO Grand maximum floatation.
The weight forward taper is one half size heavier to load the faster modern fly rod, yet it gives a smooth light delivery of even the smallest dry fly and the rear taper is long enough for roll casting.
The product of RIOs SlickShooter™ Process, the RIO Grand fly line incorporates a supple coldwater, super slick, self-lubricating, dirt-resistant coating on a nylon multifilament core.
RIO has included a welded loop on the front end of the fly line to facilitate changing leaders.
Tests have found excellent turnover and presentation with this loop.
When landing fish, it slides through the rod guides more easily than the customary nail knot. Traditionalists can cut this loop off and not compromise the taper.
This is the perfect line for wet or dry fly fishing.
Available in 3wt (WF-3-F) or 4wt (WF-4-F) on this reel.

RIO NYMPH Fly Line - High Floating - Indicator Tip - NEW
Use the RIO Nymph line for nymph fishing under all fishing conditions, whether indicator, high stick or dead
drift nymphing and terrestrials. Rated number one by Western professional guides for deep nymphing using
strike indicators and long drag free drifts. The taper design, with both a long back taper and body for easy roll
casting, mending and fly control, enhances casting weighted nymphs, indicators and big air-resistant flies.
RIOs new high floatation technology creates a super high floating tip that stays up under normal conditions.
This high visibility tip is a built-in strike indicator which can be cut off without affecting the casting
performance. The Nymph line has welded loops on both ends for easy rigging and fast leader
changes.
Available in a 4wt (WF-4-F) on this reel.

AuquaLux Fly Line Powerflex® Core
A must-have line for the serious lake angler. Castability has always been a problem with clear intermediate sinking lines because there are no lubricants in the coating and the lines drag through the guides. RIO has solved the problem by incorporating proprietary lubricants into the running line coating that make the line slick. The running line is translucent green while the head is completely clear. With an intermediate sinking rate of 1.5 2.0 inches per second (3.7 cm/s), the line is perfect for fishing subsurface and shallow shore lines. Ideal when stealth is required for wary, selective fish. Made on a low memory supple monofilament core with a coldwater coating and welded loop on the front end.
Available in a 3wt (WF-3-I) or 4wt (WF-4-I) on this reel.

Standardized line weights as defined by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA, formerly AFTMA).
Weights are given in grains (7000 grains/pound or 437 1/2 grains/ounce), measured by weighing the front 30 feet of the fly line.
