Never Dipped!!!
I’ll admit, I’ve been on a Quest, to find a Wax Cotton Hat that doesn’t take a life time to break-in...you know the ones ...They’re Stiff... like “Odd Job’s” turban (the sinister Character in the Movie “Gold Finger”).
I’ve completed my Quest; I’ve found the Secret, it’s in the Cloth! The “stiff hat makers” weave the cloth and “dip it in wax”...Not Good!!
The Watership Hatters spin the thread,Wax it and then Weave the Cloth. This creates the “Perfect Hat” with a warm friendly flexible feel, that up until now, required years of wear.
