What do you get with a VersiTip? You might be covering a lot of water, but you're only fishing the surface. The VersiTip Fly Line (an 85 foot fly line with 4 interchangeable 15 foot tips) allows you to fish different depths of water with one line. Let's explore a visual example...Put your swim trunks on. We're going for a dive. Take a 20-foot ladder and stand it in 20 feet of water. At the Top Rung of the ladder, or the surface, tie the VersiTips yellow 15-foot Floating Tip...hold you breath we're goin down. At 2 feet down, tie the Clear Intermediate Tip. Half way down the ladder (about 8 feet deep) tie the Mid Sink Tip. Now swim to the bottom rung (about 18 feet deep) and tie your Fast Sink Tip. Now Look Up. That's a lot of uncovered water, if you're only fishing a floating line. RIO has Color Coded the Tips, for easy identification and packaged them in a convenient Zippered Pouch...small enough to stuff in a shirt pocket.
