TFO's Limited Lifetime Warranty is for the life of the original registered owner. If your rod fails due to defects in materials or workmanship Temple Fork Outfitters will repair or replace your rod at no cost.
To activate your warranty, simply go to our website (www.tforods.com) and fill out the warranty registration form online or fill out the form included with your rod and drop it in the mail to us (don’t forget a stamp).
If you ever have a problem with your rod, your dealer is not authorized to offer replacements under this warranty so you’ll have to send it to us here in Dallas. To return a rod for warranty repair or replacement, send the entire rod with proof of purchase and $40.00 to:
Temple Fork Outfitters
8105 Sovereign Row
Dallas, TX 75247
Please make sure that your broken rod is properly packaged and please include a current return address; a physical address is better than a P. O. Box. Once we receive your rod, we will inspect the damages. If we determine the rod failed due to defects in materials or workmanship, we will return your $40.00 check along with your repaired or replacement rod. The whole process should not take more than a about a week from the time we receive your broken rod.
If upon examination, we determine that a broken rod is not due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will keep your $40 and repair, replace or substitute with the closest comparable model if an exact replacement is no longer available.
Just so you know, defects in materials and or workmanship do not include:
Rods broken by car doors or windows; Angry ceiling fans (or spouses); High-sticking or freeing snags; Throwing or slamming a rod against a tree branch, gunwale, or any other solid object due to the frustration of losing a big fish (it can happen); Used as a switch to correct an unruly bird dog that just chewed the handle off; Irreverent coolers sliding around the bed of a pick-up; Normal wear and tear and abuses not yet mentioned or invented, etc. etc. Rod guides are excluded too but we’ll keep a stock of them for you to purchase if you need to have one re-wrapped. Finally, this warranty is limited to your rod – and thus specifically excludes any damage it might cause to people or other things.
In closing, your purchase makes you part our growing family that most recently has been joined by Gary Loomis. His knowledge, experience, heart, and soul exist in each of the TFO Signature Series Spinning and Casting rods he has designed for us. We ask that you share his passion for the outdoors by helping to protect our valuable fisheries and by helping us get new participants involved in our sport … we welcome you and we thank you for your support.
