Patterns:
- The Butterfly — To catch big tailing bonefish you need a fly that lands softly yet has a good profile, rides hook point up, and the appropriate sink rate. This fly is designed for just that and as the name implies is "lands like butter, baby." You will see Tim trick the legendary hard to catch big bones of the Florida Keys.
- The Chernobyl PM — This fly is another variation of the versatile Chernobyl tying style, a bushy fly to push some water and let fish find it in low light situations. Tim used this fly to cap a great evening of bone fishing taking a slob after sunset.
- The Redfish Slider — a variation of the bonefish slider, this fly is just as effective in Texas, Louisiana and even in the Carolinas as it is in the Everglades. Redfish just love this fly, period. You will see Tim fish this fly pursuing the reds of Florida Bay.
- The Craft Fur Shrimp — a pattern that always is saved a space in the fly box. Equally as effective for tarpon and snook in the bridge lights, or tied light on a bonefish flat, or just to take a tripletail floating on a buoy. Anyone who eats a shrimp will eat the classic fly. Tim uses it to convert on a Florida Bay tripletail.
- The Skunk — a muddler style tie that combines a spun deer hair head with a bunny tail to create a pattern that the baby tarpon flip over. You will learn the secrets of this fly and see some high flying baby tarpon action.
